AIS European Tour
On January 2, the AIS Volleyball Program returned to full time training in preparation for their month long tour of Europe encompassing; Sweden, Italy, Slovakia, France, following the deserved Christmas break after winning the AVF’s National Volleyball Challenge in early December.
With only four days of training, the young AIS team comprising of nine junior athletes (U20) and three youth athletes (U18) from the National Junior Program headed to Europe for a series of friendly matches against the National Junior Teams of Sweden, Slovakia and France. In addition to series mentioned, the team also played one off matches against local representative and national league teams as well.
Sweden:

The AIS Volleyball Program as a whole is now back to normal training following the success of this tour. The next scheduled activity for the program is March in Melbourne to contest the Eric Hayman Cup against Nittaidai University of Japan and Victorian State League sides.
