- Before spiking the ball look at where you plan on hitting the ball (look for gaps or pick out weaker players)
-Watch the ball from the time it leaves the setters hands to the time you make contact with it.
-Vary you style, don't always hit to the same place with the same strength, keep the other team guessing.
-If the ball isnt in the right position to spike it dont try to spike it, it will just end up in the net or out of the court if you try, instead just set it or dig it to the back corners of the court.
