In almost every sport, being left handed gives you an advantage. Sometimes lefties find it easier to hit on the right side. Maybe your coach is saying your hand isn't right because your hitting with a "closed" hand? In other words, your fingers are together. When you hit, try to make sure fingers are very far apart. You want to make contact with as much of the ball as possible. Work on standing on the the ground about 10 ft from a wall and hitting the ball down against the wall. Focus on your hand and snapping your wrist over the top of the ball. Make the ball bounce before it hits the wall, so when it bounces of the wall it gives you a nice set to hit it again. Try to keep it going. This is a very simple, repetition drill that you can do by yourself and without a net! Good luck!
