CORVALLIS, Ore. - Ninth-ranked UCLA recorded a season-high 20 blocks, four different players had double-doubles and junior Jessica Fine became the first Bruin to post 30 digs since 2005 in a four-game victory at Oregon State on Thursday. Game scores were 31-29, 22-30, 30-24, 30-18.
The Bruins improve to 17-7 overall and 7-6 in Pac-10 action, snapping a three-match losing streak. The Beavers fall to 10-16 and 3-11 in league play.
Fine's 30 digs mark the first time a Bruin has reached that milestone since Jordan Smith (32) on Oct. 22, 2005 and only the 13th time a player has reached that total in UCLA history.
