April Ross makes it two nights in a row.
Volleyball fans in St. Louis got to escape to beaches of Southern California for a few hours tonight, as the AVP brought the 2009 Johnsonville Hot Winter Nights Tour to the Scottrade Center.
The results from the women’s pool play round are as follows:
Match 1: Dodd/Mason 11 vs. Jordan/Ross 15
Match 2: Dodd/Ross 15 vs. Jordan/Mason 12
Match 3: Dodd/Jordan 18 vs. Mason/Ross 16
On the men’s side of the competition, pool play results are as follows:
Match 1: Dalhausser/Keenan 11 vs. Fuerbringer/Williams 15
Match 2: Dalhausser/Williams 15 vs. Fuerbringer/Keenan 12
Match 3: Dalhausser/Fuerbringer 15 vs. Keenan/Williams 13
After pool play concluded, fans got to enjoy a four-on-four, coed, final exhibition match, which featured all eight of the AVP Pros.
Women’s pool play winner, Ross, chose her team of Keenan, Fuerbringer, and Jordan.
Men’s pool play winner, Williams, teamed up with Dalhausser, Mason, and Williams.
At the end of the night Ross’s team defeated Williams’s team, with a final score of 15 to 13.
