Every time outside hitter Joe Sunder served or tallied a kill, a young female fan waved a bright pink sign that said "Joe Sunder, be my valentine."
Sunder said he'd never met the girl, but teammate Max Holt teased that Sunder was flashing her his phone number with his fingers during the match.
Holt suggested Sunder track her down after the match and Penn State coach Mark Pavlik agreed, saying, "Cupid works in funny ways."
