Junior Zech States, along with the rest of the Pennridge boys volleyball team, has never had the experience of playing in the PIAA tournament.

But after defeating Christopher Dock Tuesday night in the District One Class AAA semifinals at Council Rock South High School, the Rams finally will.

Second-seeded Pennridge rallied in the second and third games to sweep No. 3 seed Dock 3-0 — 25-23, 25-22, 26-24 — to clinch one of the district’s three births into states.
