Mason Kuo will remain on Warrior volleyball staff as assistant coach
Mason Kuo will remain an assistant coach for the University of Hawai'i men's volleyball team under new head coach Charlie Wade, the school announced today
Kuo, a former Warrior setter, was a full-time assistant under Mike Wilton for the past two seasons and a volunteer coach the previous two seasons.
Wade was hired last month to replace Wilton, who became an assistant coach for BYU's women's program.
"Mason is a quality guy who is well respected. It was easy for me to recognize the positive contributions that Mason has made to the program's success," Wade said in a statement. "I'm looking forward to working with him and having him contribute to our continual success."
Kuo, a McKinley High alum from 'Ewa Beach, played for the Warriors from 1995 to 1999.
