No. 14 Duke Rolls To Victory Over Boston College
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Ali Hausfeld tossed up 46 assists and knocked down a career-high six service aces to lead the 14th-ranked Duke volleyball team to a 3-0 (30-19, 30-26, 34-32) victory over Boston College Friday evening at Power Gymnasium.
Hausfeld, the nation’s leader in assists per game, notched a double-double with 11 digs and contributed six kills on eight errorless attacks for a team-high .750 hitting percentage. The senior setter also helped out on two of Duke’s 12 blocks and led the Blue Devils (17-4, 12-1 ACC) to a collective hitting percentage of .287. Sophomore Rachael Moss led all players with 19 kills, while senior middle blocker Carrie DeMange posted her 14th consecutive double-double with 10 kills and 10 digs.

No. 11 Rainbow Wahine Hold Block Party In Sweep Of No. 13 New Mexico State
HONOLULU - The No. 11 University of Hawai`i Rainbow Wahine volleyball team (17-4, 11-0 WAC) had a season-high 17.5 blocks as they swept through the No. 13 New Mexico State Aggies (19-4, 10-2) 30-26, 30-28 and 30-22 in front of a season-high crowd of 7,538 at the Stan Sheriff Center Friday.

McGinnis Sets No. 10 VB To Sweep Of LSU

Senior setter Angie McGinnis (Fraser, Mich.) handed out 45 assists and posted nine digs on Friday night to lead the No. 10 University of Florida volleyball team to a 3-0 (30-20, 30-17, 30-18) win over LSU in front of 2,715 fans at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center.

Badgers Win Over Indiana
Despite a late-match surge by Indiana, the eighth-ranked Wisconsin volleyball won a five-game thriller in Bloomington, Ind. The Badgers edged the Hoosiers 30-23, 30-20, 29-31, 28-30, 16-14 to improve to 18-2 overall and 10-1 in the Big Ten Conference.

No. 6 USC Goes The Distance Again For 3-2 Win Over No. 9 Cal
LOS ANGELES - Freshman Geena Urango (Los Alamitos/Los Alamitos HS) registered a season-high 21 kills Friday as the No. 6 USC Trojans outlasted the No. 9 California Golden Bears, 3-2 (30-21, 37-39, 30-26, 33-35, 15-10), in a Pac-10 Conference match at the Galen Center. Senior All-America outside hitter Asia Kaczor (Wroclaw, Poland/College of Southern Idaho) added 24 kills and tied a career high with 17 digs as the Trojans improved to 5-0 this season in five-game matches.

Perry Leads No. 4 UW To Sweep of Washington State
SEATTLE - The fourth-ranked Washington volleyball team overcame a season-low hitting percentage on Friday night against visiting Washington State on their way to a sweep of the Cougars in Pac-10 action at Bank of America Arena. Despite hitting just .203, the Huskies ran their school-record winning streak at home to 39, winning the games by scores of 30-25, 30-21, 30-24. Becky Perry hit .526 and led all players with 13 kills as the UW improved to 20-1 overall and 9-1 in the Pac-10. WSU fell to 9-15 and 0-10 in Pac-10 play.

Cardinal Tops UCLA in Los Angeles, 3-1
Los Angeles, Calif. - Junior outside hitter Cynthia Barboza was among four Stanford players in double-figures, turning in her 12th double-double of the year, as the third-ranked Stanford women's volleyball team (20-1, 9-1 Pac-10) topped the No. 7 UCLA Bruins (16-5, 6-4 Pac-10) on their home court, 30-20, 28-30, 30-22, 30-27. The win was No. 20 on the year for Stanford.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., - Sophomore outside hitter Megan Hodge (Durham, N.C.) racked up 19 kills on .607 hitting with 12 digs for her 22nd career double-double to lead the second-ranked Penn State women's volleyball team to a three-game win (30-21, 30-25, 30-15) victory at Minnesota Friday night. The Nittany Lions improve to 19-2 and 11-0 in the Big Ten while the Golden Gophers fall to 12-9 and 5-6 in league action.

Carr Wins 200th as Volleyball Rolls at Cornell, 3-0
ITHACA, N.Y – Head Coach Kerry Carr won her 200th career match and the Penn volleyball team won its fifth in a row as the Quakers defeated Cornell, 3-0 (30-23, 30-22, 34-32). Freshman Julia Swanson pounded in 14 kills and senior Anna Shlimak had 11 to lead the team. The Quakers improve to 14-7 (7-2) and continue to position themselves for a run at the Ivy League title.

No. 24 Cal Poly Dispatches UC Davis, 3-1
SAN LUIS OBISPO – The No. 24 Cal Poly volleyball team pounded its way to an early lead and used a dominating final game to keep a firm stranglehold on first place atop the Big West Conference standings with a 30-15, 28-30, 30-20, 30-15 victory against UC Davis Saturday evening in Mott Gym.
