TOLEDO, Ohio - - The No. 15 Ohio volleyball team opened its quest for a fifth-straight Mid-American Conference Tournament title with a 3-1 (30-23, 26-30, 30-25, 30-25) victory against Northern Illinois Friday evening in the tournament quarterfinals at the SeaGate Centre. The top-seeded Bobcats used a complete team effort to defeat the eighth-seeded Huskies, as four Bobcats recorded double-digit kills in the win.

Stanford, Calif. - Freshman outside hitter Alix Klineman drilled 16 kills and the fourth-ranked Cardinal women's volleyball team cruised to its 18th sweep of the year tonight in Maples Pavilion. Four players posted double-figure kills, four hit over .400 and the squad held onto the conference lead with a 30-27, 30-24, 30-14 victory. The Cardinal improves to 25-2 overall and 14-2 in the Pac-10 with the win, while ASU falls to 15-13, 7-8 Pac-10.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., Nov. 16, 2007 - The top-ranked Penn State women's volleyball team secured at least a share of the Big Ten title Friday night with a four-game win (30-28, 30-22, 24-30, 30-25) over No. 9 Wisconsin at Rec Hall in front of 3,002 fans. The Nittany Lions (25-2, 17-0) will compete for their unprecedented fifth consecutive outright conference title and their 11th overall crown in 17 years Saturday night against Illinois at 7:00 p.m. at Rec Hall in their regular-season home finale. The Badgers fall to 22-4 and 14-3 in the conference, remaining in second place in the league.
