No. 15 Ohio Advances to MAC Championship
TOLEDO, Ohio - The No. 15 Ohio volleyball team defeated Kent State 3-1 (30-24, 26-30, 30-20, 30-26) Saturday evening at the SeaGate Centre to win its 15th-straight match and advance to the Mid-American Conference Tournament championship match.

Cats Sweep Colorado 3-0 in Senior Farewell
MANHATTAN, Kan. – In true Senior Night fashion, No. 12 Kansas State raced to a quick victory over the Colorado Buffaloes, winning 3-0 on Saturday night. The Wildcats, who honored seniors Angie Lastra, Lauren Rosenthal and Stacey Spiegelberg postgame, improve to 22-7 overall and 14-5 in the Big 12 Conference after defeating the Buffs 30-17, 30-26, 30-16. K-State handed Colorado its 20th loss of the season as the Buffaloes fall to 6-20 overall, 1-17 Big 12.

No. 11 Hawai`i Wins Five-Game Battle Over No. 13 Aggies To Claim WAC Tourney
LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The No. 11 University of Hawai`i Rainbow Wahine (24-5) won a tight battle over the No. 13 New Mexico State Aggies (26-5) 28-30, 30-20, 24-30, 30-23 and 15-11 in front of a crowd of 4,046 in the WAC Tournament Championship match at the Pan American Center Saturday.

No. 8 USC Sweeps Washington State On Senior Night
LOS ANGELES - Senior All-America outside hitter Asia Kaczor (Wroclaw, Poland/College of Southern Idaho) had a team-high 11 kills Saturday as the No. 8 USC Trojans swept the Washington State Cougars, 3-0 (30-19, 30-19, 30-22), in a Pac-10 match at the Galen Center. USC (23-4, 12-4) remains perfect at home with a 17-0 record this season, winning 23 straight matches dating to last season.

No. 6 California Drops Arizona State In Three
BERKELEY - The No. 6 California volleyball team (22-6, 12-5 Pac-10) defeated the visiting Arizona State Sun Devils (15-14, 7-9) in a three-game sweep (30-27, 34-32, 30-22) tonight at Haas Pavilion. Notching their 12th win of 2007, the Golden Bears matched their school record for conference wins in a season with one match left on the schedule.

Huskies Rebound With Sweep of No. 10 UCLA
LOS ANGELES - Senior All-American Christal Morrison had 14 kills to lead fifth-ranked Washington to a sweep of No. 10 UCLA on Saturday night in Pac-10 volleyball at Pauley Pavilion. The Huskies won by scores of 30-20, 31-29, 30-27, improving to 24-3 overall and 13-3 in the Pac-10. UCLA falls to 18-9 and 8-8 in the Pac-10.

No. 3 Volleyball sweeps past Baylor, 3-0
WACO, Texas -- The No. 3 Texas Volleyball team used a pair of 14-kill performances by sophomore outside hitter Destinee Hooker and freshman outside hitter Juliann Faucette to knock off Baylor, 3-0 Saturday afternoon at the Ferrell Center. The Longhorns' 30-21, 30-20, 30-25 sweep marked their 18th straight victory and their 15th sweep in Big 12 Conference play.

No. 1 Penn State Women's Volleyball Captures Fifth Straight Outright Big Ten Title
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., Nov. 17, 2007 - For the fifth consecutive season, the Penn State women's volleyball team has captured the outright Big Ten title, sweeping Illinois (30-27, 30-22, 30-18) Saturday night at Rec Hall. The top-ranked Nittany Lions improve to 26-2 overall and 18-0 in conference action while the Fighting Illini fall to 15-13 and 7-11 in league action.
