Quite simply Karen... yeah, you need to get over it! First of all, those people taking photographs are most likely other parents snapping shots ofthier daughters! It is not all about your daughter out there, there are 11 other girls on the court at the same time, which means that there are quite a number of parents that you may not even know or have ever seen from the opposing team taking photos!
Second, I run a recruiting business and I am at volleyball matches all over the country with my video camera shooting film of girls playing volleyball for the parents that hired me to do so... you will no dout see MANY video cameras around the court as your daughter plays club volleyball. It is a part of the game and it will ALWAYS be there... Video recruiting is huge and it is the first thing a college coach asks a potential recruit for... a video!
If you are uncomfortable or not sure, simply ask the person taking photos, they will be very happy to tell you who they are taking pictures of! If you see a video guy and he looks suspicious, ask him, and if he can not give you some sort of credentials to his reason for being here, then simmply inform the first official you can find!
Relax, enjoy the game and watch your daughter play, I can guarantee you that there are no alterior motives for 99.9% of those taking photos. Its not like these girls are out there in bikinis!!! In 20 years around this sport, I have never run into or experienced any sort of unscrupulous activity around a volleyball court! So with all this info, think about it and, you might want to bring your own camera to the games!
