I'm a sophomore in high school and I'd like to start a volleyball team. There are around 15-20 students attending the first training. It'll be for 90 minutes. Would it be aceptable to start out with collecting the names/phone numbers to everybody that shows up -> go over basics like serves, blocks, rules and some lay-ups? That'd be to get the attention from everyone and make the first time fun without demotivating them.
