I am a beach volleyball national team athlete, entering a full time career of high-performance sport. My goal is to qualify for the London 2012 Summer Olympic Games, and as part of this qualification process I am planning to compete full time on the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour in 2010 and 2011.

Like most Canadian sports beach volleyball is underfunded, and my personal resources do not allow me to cover the cost of full-time training and competition at the international level, with the expected $20,000 summer budget.
