O'Dea brothers victorious in Thailand
New Zealand siblings Sam and Ben O’Dea picked up the men’s crown at the Khanom-Federbrau leg of the Asian Beach Volleyball Tour after they beat Kazakhstan’s Sidorenko and Dyachenko as home duo Kamoltip Kulna and Yapa Phokrongploy claimed the women’s title by beating Chinese Taipei’s Chang Hui Min and Kou Nai Han on Tuesday.
The Kiwi brothers beat Thailand’s Kittipat Yungtin and Teerapat Pollueang 21-15, 21-16 in their semi-final to reach the final and proved too strong for Kazakhstan team, beating them 21-19, 21-14 to win the tournament.
