Puerto Rico and Mexico claim gold at latest NORCECA Beach Volleyball stop
Puerto Rico’s Yarleen Santiago and Dariam Acevedo and Aldo Miramontes and Juan Virgen from Mexico won the women’s and men’s gold medals respectively at the Boca Chica Beach Volleyball Tournament, the third leg of the 2010 NORCECA Circuit, on Sunday.
Winners of first stop of the regional competition at Cayman Islands, Santiago and Acevedo edged Cuba’s Niriam Sinal and Kirenia Ballar in a thrilling contest 2-1 (19-21, 21-19, 21-19).
