Luxembourg, April 27, 2008. The Volleyball Federation of Luxembourg sadly announces the premature and sudden death of Ms. Denitza KRIVOVA, who died in a car accident yesterday, April 26.

The representatives of the Federation along with the entire local volleyball community will keep memory of her humbleness as well as of her great talent, which deserved her a promising career for the years to come.

Denitza, who was of Bulgarian origins, started playing volleyball at age 8 and quickly progressed her skills and abilities under the supervision of her parents, Antonia and Rangel, within a couple of local clubs (Mamer first and then in Esch). She rapidly attended the highest level here in Luxembourg and this season, at the early age of 18, she was enrolled by the French club Terville, which is currently playing the PRO A national division.

Ms. KRIVOVA has been a regular player for both the junior and senior national teams of Luxembourg; named «Deni» she really enjoyed a lot of respect from her teammates, as a result of her kindness and exemplary engagement.

The Volleyball Federation of Luxembourg – along with the CEV – would like to express her family their sincere condolences and ensure they will both keep an everlasting and emotional memory of Denitza.
