The U.S. Women’s National Volleyball Team overwhelmed Trinidad & Tobago 25-9, 25-7, 25-6 in the opening match of the NORCECA Women’s Continental Championship on Monday afternoon at Winnipeg, Canada.
The U.S. opened all three sets with a quick advantage in never trailing in the match. The U.S. led 5-0 in the first set, 8-1 in the second set and 11-1 in the third set. Trinidad & Tobago scored back-to-back points only three times in the match.
