Default Setting out of the Middle

Hey Just wanted to hear some feedback. Pro's and con's. I am coaching a u18 girls club team. we have run a 5-1 this year for the most part. My best athletes on the team aside from my setter are 4 outside hitters. After our last tournament and very little offensive output from my team I wanted to change things. As any coach will agree, you need to have your best athletes on the floor.
I am thinking about running a 5-1, but having my setter set out of the Middle. This will allow my team to have 4 outside hitters on the court at all times. I have asked my setter to jump set every ball when she is front row so a tip from her can act as our quick set.
I would like to hear some feedback from everyone. Both good and bad. As I have a great defensive team, but need to find a way to generate some offensive punch.

I'll respond to my own question. After talking with some local university coaches and trying it for one tournament I found that my setter was simply too exhausted from this. I realized it is to much to ask a setter to perform all the movement of a middle blocker as well as run down all the bad passes. In short I abandoned the idea and went back to a traditional 5-1 offensive system.
In order to generate more offense I simply brought a lot more movement into my offense and it seemed to work.

There is also the flexibility in allowing the setter to set from the middle, if only for just one play then transition to the right. When if a setter is required to block, defensive players must need to get higher pass to allow setter the required recovery time.
