Sport Motivation Study - Participants Needed
Hello Volleyball Players
My name is Meredith and I am a student at the University of Ottawa (Canada). I am completing a study on adult athletes and their goals, training habits, well-being, and general motivation.
If you are currently training for a sport or cross-training at least 3 times per week (e.g. playing volleyball twice and hitting the gym once) and are at least 18 years of age, I would love if you would complete my study. If you are not currently training for a sport or do not meet the age requirement, please forward this information to anyone you do know who does meet the criteria and encourage them to participate.
Thank you so much for any assistance you can provide!
More information about the survey can be found below.
Thank you in advance,
Meredith

Hello,
Thank you for your interest in the study entitled “Sport Motivation”.
This study is intended to assess adult athletes and their training-goals, motivation, and life satisfaction. This study is supported by the School of Psychology at the University of Ottawa and is supervised by Dr. Luc G. Pelletier. The results of this study will be used for a thesis project and presented at various academic conferences. It is also possible that the results of the study will be published.
Participation in this study will consist of completing a 15-minute on-line questionnaire. Please note that participation is voluntary, results are anonymous, and it is possible to withdraw from the study at any point.
To be eligible for this study, you must identify with at least one sport, be at least 18 years of age, and currently training at least three times per week.
Should you meet the eligibility requirements, you may complete the study by following the link below:

If you know other adults that are currently active in a sport and meet the requirements to participate in this study, please feel free to forward them a copy of this message or send me their contact information.
Should you have any questions, including those related to the procedures of the results, please do not hesitate to call or write.
Thank you,
Meredith Rocchi
